What is the difference between Botox® / Dysport® and fillers such as Restylane, Perlane and Juvederm?
Frown lines are caused by overactive facial muscles. Fillers (Restylane, Perlane, Juvederm) correct the wrinkles and depressions by adding volume in or underneath the skin. Botox® / Dysport® are injected intramuscular, blocking the nerves that cause facial muscles to contract, thereby relaxing them.
