About Innovative Directions in Health

Innovative Directions in Health is led by its founder, Khalid Mahmud, M.D., F.A.C.P, former Chief of Medicine at North Memorial Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Mahmud is fully certified by the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine and has been a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine since 1996. During this time, he has received extensive and ongoing training by way of:

Attending the Academy's educational and scientific meetings
Participating in numerous educational courses and seminars in the fields of nutrition, exercise, hormonal therapies, supplementation, prevention of disease, and skin anti-aging

Cancellation Policy

Medical and Cosmetic Appointments
In today's hectic world unplanned issues come up for all of us. We recognize this fact, but we respectfully request that you cancel or reschedule your medical and cosmetic appointments a minimum of 48 hours in advance. This will allow for the open time slot to be filled with someone needing an appointment. If your appointment is not canceled within the allotted time period, you will be assessed a $50.00 missed appointment fee or forfeiture of your deposit. This fee will be your responsibility to pay upon being billed or at the time of your next visit, which ever comes first. Our intention is to open otherwise unused appointments for our patients, not to collect missed appointment fees. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Consultation Appointments
All initial consultations are free. However, a credit card number is required to hold the appointment. A 48 hour cancellation or rescheduling notice is required. If notice is not given within the allotted time period, a $25.00 missed appointment fee is incurred.
